Sarah graduated with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree in 2019 from the University of Liverpool. During her degree she completed a project focusing of the 3-step synthesis of an organic target molecule. Sarah continued her studies at the University of Liverpool and has completed an MSc qualification in Advanced Chemical Sciences. During her MSc she had the opportunity to coordinate peer assisted learning for the rest of her cohort with another student. She also undertook a project in collaboration with Unilever focusing on improving the delivery and bioavailability of poorly soluble actives. Her PhD project based in the Rannard group looks at the development of new colour developers for thermal colour change materials.
