Hannah graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry. She spent 3 summers during her degree working with IOTA NanoSolutions Ltd developing methods for drug nanoparticle synthesis. Hannah joined the Rannard group in January 2012 to study for her PhD in drug delivery for HIV using dendritic polymers. Hannah successfully defended her thesis in 2016 and left the group to start a career with Diageo.
