Amy Lloyd

Amy graduated from the University of Liverpool with a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in 2019. During her degree, she spent a semester at Queensland University of Technology and completed an internship at Chulalongkorn University researching the synthesis and characterisation of quantum dots for hydrogen peroxide detection. Amy completed her MSc at the University of Liverpool in 2020, carrying out her research project with Unilever. Her project focused on understanding the influence of formulation ingredients on the colloidal stabilisation of dirt particles. She is now studying for her PhD in the Rannard group focussing on degradable polymer packaging for low-cost diagnostics.
