Mark completed his first degree in 1993 having joined Unilever in 1987.  He is currently a full-time employee of Unilever Research & Development at the Port Sunlight Laboratories and  has spent over 20 years researching home and personal care products.  Mark has managed the Radiotracer Facility at Port Sunlight since 1996 and is studying for his PhD with Professor Francis Livens (University of Manchester) and Steve Rannard. His research incorporates radiotracers into conventional polymers prepared by controlled polymerization techniques
