Sophie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2024 with a First Class Integrated Masters in Chemistry (MChem). 

Having completed her 3rd year project and a summer internship with Dr Marco Giardiello, Sophie joined the Rannard group in 2023 for her 4th year project. 

Under the supervision of Dr Sam Mckeating, Sophie investigated the temperature dependence of Transfer-dominated Branching Radical Telomerisation. Her PhD is now utilising the skills gained to investigate cyclisation within TBRT polymers and how this can be harnessed for new applications
