Corinna Smith
Corinna graduated from the University of Liverpool with a First Class MChem degree in 2022. During her degree, she completed an EPSRC funded vacation bursary within the Rannard Group, researching and expanding on the fundamental understanding of high molecular weight polymer synthesis by Transfer-dominated Branching Radical Telomerisation (TBRT). Corinna remained in the group for her MChem project, which involved exploiting the reactivity ratios of different retarding agents for the synthesis of hyperbranched polymers by TBRT with the aim to remove telogen content in TBRT. She is started her PhD in the Rannard Group in 2022, aiming to combine TBRT with long-acting injectable medicine concepts to enable long-acting drug delivery.
