Sarah Wagstaffe
Sarah graduated from Cardiff University in 2002, where she obtained a 1st Class degree in Chemistry. After three years working in the NHS as a Clinical Scientist, she went on to undertake her PhD research under Dr Jason Riley at Imperial College. Her research focused on the development of a nanobiosensor for the detection of bacterial species in chronic wounds. She joined the group in May 2009 as a Research Associate, working with Prof Steve Rannard and Dr Andrew Owen on Non-Attrition HAART nanoparticle therapies for HIV/AIDS Drug Delivery. Sarah left the group in December 2009 to work at the University of Oxford.
